Tips and Tricks
To make the most of your time at the college Career Fair and leave a lasting impression on our student body, consider the following tips:
- Come Prepared: Bring printed materials, business cards, and clear information about available opportunities within your organization. Students appreciate tangible resources they can reference later.
- Share Opportunities at All Levels: Be ready to talk about internship, part-time and full-time roles. Many students are exploring career paths and will value your insights on how to get started.
- Offer Insider Advice: Provide helpful tips on how to apply to your organization or succeed in your industry. Your guidance can be a game-changer for a student who’s just getting started.
Parking Information
Parking is free during the current academic year. Employers are welcome to park without a permit in student designated spaces. We recommend parking in the Flint Parking Garage or Parking Lot B for its close proximity to the Main Quad.
- For more parking information, please visit our De Anza Parking website.
- Please refer to the campus map for the locations of the Flint Parking Garage, Parking Lot B and the Main Quad.
Location
The Career Fair will take place outdoors at our centrally located Main Quad. Tabling areas will be organized by industry sector. While some spots offer partial shade, most are exposed to direct sunlight. We recommend that vendors bring their own canopies, tablecloths, and any other materials needed to create a comfortable and visually appealing booth. Each vendor will be provided with one table and one chair.
