    SRE and ICC are planning to collaborate on Cultural Day.

    Town Hall
    - Jayven: Spoke with President Torres, one of the goals of engagement was to get involved within this town hall. Don't feel like we are reaching them as we should be. The way that we can see this happening is with the executives, mainly President Finance SRE ICC.
     
    Wanted to discuss within this meeting a theme for this event. 
     
    Min: Table in the cafeteria. 
     
    Dennis: Townhall or not a townhall, we should encourage Senators to come into the cafeteria to answer any questions instead of simply waiting for them to be in the Student Lounge. Before, everyone used to sign up on the days of the office hours for the people's availability. 
     
    Jayven: From my own personal experience, most people don't come in for the office hours except general students who want to ask a couple of questions. Moving back to the Town Hall, get more feedback on the theme. 
     
    Amy: Think we should look about more ways to attract students to you naturally. Things like open form or doing office hours upstairs or other methods to encourage student interest in DASG. 
     
    Dennis: Open house?
     
    Hyn Chu: DASG table at Lights Out? 
     
    Alan: The town hall is a one time event, it would garner more student engagement but it would only be one time until it fades out. 
     
    Jayven: The office hours would get more feedback if we had it upstairs. But I really want to push this idea because it's a low stakes event and being in this position, we are supposed to spend our time representing the student body. It can also be once a quarter or a month. Some topics would be: dining service, bookstore, schedule change. Hyflex, hybrid on zoom or in person. Can Events start it?
     
    Joey: I can talk to my event coordinators about it, or set it up somewhere with a lot of traffic, but I don't know if there's going to be a definite answer. 
     
    Jayven: Definite answer by Friday.
