Course Description

This course applies the analytical, critical, and synthesis skills developed in EWRT D001A/D01AH and EWRT D001B/D01BH, and/or EWRT D002./D002H to the ways meaning can be made in diverse cultural, social, and historical contexts in prose, poetry, and drama by reading and analyzing texts and critical interpretations and by composing critical responses, analyses, and arguments.

EWRT 1C.02A: Open to all students who meet normal course prerequisites, have been accepted by formal application to the Study Abroad Florence program and have paid a program fee of ~$3,400 (which may include Financial Aid) plus airfare. All classes require permission of the instructor, Dr. Karen Chow, chowkaren@fhda.edu. Majority of course work takes place in Florence, Italy.
