Clinical Hematology Lecture
Course Description
This course presents the origin of the various types of blood cells with an emphasis on the red and white blood cells. Human hematological disorders and classifications based on clinical laboratory findings will be covered and case studies will be presented. This course must be successfully completed in order to qualify for the clinical externship and take the exam.

HTEC D080A.01: To enroll in this class there is a selective admission process. For admission information email MLT Program Coordinator at MLTprogram@fhda.edu. This course is offered only once per year and is required for the MLT certificate or degree. Exams and quizzes will require on-campus attendance. Co-Requisite, must be taken with HTEC-80. You must pass both.
