Join us for the kickoff of our third year at De Anza!
Celebrate the start of the academic year with an international chat, new connections, and a slice of pizza!
We’ll have tables for different languages where you can explore a language you’re curious about, practice one you’re learning, or enjoy a conversation in your heritage language. All levels are welcome!

Students, faculty, staff, and members of the De Anza community are welcome. Invite your friends and anyone who would enjoy connecting through language! Please bring your CWID (De Anza identification number).
Tutors from the Student Success Center will also be available! Tell us which language you’d like to practice so we can try to connect you with a student tutor, depending on availability.
Please RSVP as soon as possible and tell us which language you’d like to explore, so we can arrange language tables, coordinate tutor support, and have enough pizza for everyone!
Everyone who RSVPs will receive conversation topics, a vocabulary list, and optional activities to explore before the event. No preparation is required, but if you’d like a little inspiration, you’ll have some fun ideas to get you started!
